Hi I'm have just got keys to a new hdb flat in bedok and is contemplating installing System 4 (Mitsubishi Electric or Toshiba). Our window at the air con ledge is around 700mm in height. Toshiba's condenser (RAS-4M26SACV) is Dimension : 795(H) x 900(W) x 320(H) mm ME's condenser MXY-4A28VA is Dimension : 840 (W) x 330(D) x 710 (H) To me it seems barely possible to push out ME's condenser thru the window (tilting maybe can) but impossible to get toshiba's out without tearing down the window frame & put it back. Are there extra charges to do this? I definitely cannot reach air con ledge via service yard.

One advantage is that they are super near to our place. Save on travelling costs. I got a quote from them but did not use them in the end. Have to say though, the service was good but I opted for cheaper options.

For parquet flooring, the longer, the more expensive I heard. if you want, I can pm you his hp number. I remember the verbal quotation for 3 bedrooms (4 room hdb) is around 3k-4k.

Yup mine planning to be like that too. Dunno which architecture came out with the design and placement of the scv points. The short wall so near to the windows some more. Quite weird to use it for TV without wall extension. really LPPL

Note that if you want to put the TV at the long wall, will have to spend more on electrician to pull the SCV & FM socket over ;p Think that item alone costed me around 100 bucks...

My contractor told me that 900mm is the dimension that most pple get and will take that into account when constructing your kitchen cabinets. I'm planning to get Hobz glass hob. Think it will be 780mm.

I opted for conventional white tiles. I believe black tiles give the house a classy look but it also make the place look smaller. Its a matter of choice of course... I find my reno project time-consuming but exciting Bound to make mistakes but when you make a right decision, will enjoy it immensely Good luck to all!

Hi fred, I am shortlisting it, havent bought yet. I heard it has no difference. I think that my bathroom has a beam structure tat I can mount the heater to. if you buy a vertical one, cannot put horizontal & vice versa. My reno havent started, so I'm still shopping around
