hey SF, i actually posted the wrong picture, i got the slightly larger model. Paid 400 for it only $50 discount. Not much really...cause friend's friend's friend is working there. anyways here's a quick update headed down to our home to see what's the progress like. here's the kitchen force spring door, this is the new handle, preferred it from the rounded handle. door opens to this under the cabinets you'll see the lights another angle of the puny kitchen this 15 dollar light serves it's purpose as the kitchen is pretty dark when switched on it looks like this common toilet master toilet, same fitting as the common toilet some storage space in my bedroom my wardrobe without the doors yet. and here's the mirror which we can slide into the fittings, since this wardrobe is facing my bed and we needed a mirror but had to believe 'feng shui' believe you guys know the rest Sidetrack! Sis bought another pair of shoes I like this pair though love the full on black nice love the red sole too

Mandy & Lincoln - Renovating Our First Home

good taste. But honestly, you should consider Magis as well, their chairs are actually must better in construction than that of Kartell's. You can find them at xtra where you can also find Herman miller. But then again for HM, there's many repros around since their patent expired good news for our generation -
sorry for the lack of updates, didnt manage to head down as there too much to do at work, but did pop by today to buy my hood. Here's a nice pic, very slim and form the pic, only the pull out portion will be exposed, whereas the rest is hidden. Will be popping by tomorrow so we'll see.

woh didnt know this thread spiralled this way, thus far, I have signed with them, seen their workmanship and I am quite comfortable no in fact very comfortable. No worries kk, if their not your cup of tea, there are plenty others around cheers -
Not to worry, the remotes are mutually exclusive, I tried out my MBR's remote at the living area didnt work. So rest assured it's fine. Tomorrow collecting sink and carpentry work will start tomorrow as well, probably another update on Sunday. Cheerios

great to hear you like it and amazingly your choice of rooms are exactly the same as mine.

You can use your existing switch for that purpose to toggle the lights on and off if the remote fails. Also, your right in saying that with only 1 switch on, the rest is via the remote placing it at a designated spot allows you to change the module should it fail. It just makes refreshing the hardware earier. Don't need to buy new switch and programming is more of how the electrician circuits the lights, it's pretty easy as my electrician understands what this remote is about and how I wanted my lights segemented.
-
Don't have to, if the remote is dead, just have to use the switch to toggle the lights. Also, place the module at a designated point that is easy to access for example close to a downlight so when it's gone, you can easily replace it. Anyways most electricians will be able to fix this no issues. good luck

some new entries washer and dryer is finally in, now I can truly feel how puny my kitchen in ..h..oo..ray.. ah notice that some tiles are removed cause not up to par in terms of standards our floor is done, we went for laminate as it seems to make monetary sense, anyways we're building a bay windos seatee if that's what it's called closer look ladyboss loves butterflies so we decided to get the white diamantini & domeniconi clock against our red wall...honestly I feel the butterflies will scare her one day as she's pretty scared of moths... saw this while buying the butterfly clock, will be getting this before Christmas think it's a neat idea. You can find this at XZQT aye SF do get it, I feel it's worth the moolah. Honestly, this is a saving grace, we saved quite alot simply by getting this and not installing additional switches. Also, you can bargain for the price I got mine at $25 Cheers

hi, im not sure of the model but I believe the most prudent way is to remember how the remote looks on in my picture and ask them for it. They probably only have around 2-3 models but best guide is their using the exact same remote in their showroom. The blurdy electricians threw the boxes away so can't really recall the brand, apologies

SMEG I believe is from Italy, yes it is full SS and I do believe it's ranked along side brands such as miele and gaggenau. Hey eagle, was there such an issue, please do tell which brands in particular were facing this. Were issues pinned towards the humidity of our climate? Thanks!
-
be patient, anyways you can always try lifestorey as well. Their last 50% sale was around Aug. End of year should see more sales coming.
-
haiz, SMEG showroom fridge sold...must be someone from this forum.
-
No did not as we need to wait for 3 months for the fridge to come but i will be popping by their showroom to see their showroom set again. If can I might go for that. Will update price when they tell me.
-
my one taking quite a while leh 1 month plus and my carpentry work is not done yet hee hee must be the constant complains I am making but good thing my ID very accommodating. Can't wait to see our wadrobe as Lady boss has a mirror that is hidden in the wadrobe and when need to use can pull out. I will post it when it's done.

yummy to the kartell stools big fan of Kartell
-
evening mm, it's retail price $4999 and takes around 2 months to deliver, but since we're coming to the end of year they've mentioned atleast 3 months to indent.
-
yes it's very nice, fusion of nostalgic lines with contemporary finishing. It goes well in practically any themed kitchen.
-
Should not be an overload of gadgets so far I only have this remote. Main aim is to simplify complexity. Honestly if i had the money a Toto neorest would be my dream toy.
-
hey AF, the remote was installed when the electricians installed my lights. I believe it would be easier if you have a false ceiling. The fundamentals are very much like a TV remote there are 4 buttons A to D so what happened is that i have A linked to my dining light, B to 4 sets of down lights at my TV area and C to 7 lights for my foyer and dining area and D basically lights all up. So rather than having a 4 gang switch, i have a remote control that i can switch on and off from anywhere within my living area and dining even kitchen given the fact my flat is small. You can head to Chan Huat at Balestier for a demo i bought it there around 20+ for the gadget and installation was free for me. Hope this helps dude Hey bro I got it from Chan Huat their main/flagship store in Balestier. Price is around $25 and thanks for the comment. I am eagerly awaiting my carpentry work to begin, going to customize a fish tank underneath the feature wall hee hee

yes...women always better at money... actually they have one in their showroom and their willing to let go at a good price. But im not so sure about the state it's in you might want to give it a try. Their showroom is at 9 muthuraman chetty road, the distrbutors building, APS 2 floors 1st and 2nd. It's near robertson quay.
