upz for more reviews... think westpoint design is the same as westpoint furnishing.. Usually people only chance upon them at expo shows... Ordered a 3 seater L shape... leather sofa from them... price is close to $2k. Hope i have better luck than the post above... Care to share the conditions/environment of ur place, might that have caused the peeling/flaking?

Request: Point Block Floor Plan
yixiang1 replied to ozzy's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
Shouldnt u indicate block no.??? Or maybe u can try ur luck ask the seller.. some might have it... -
Hi Guys, Any experience with this? Usually u pay with cheque during 1st appointment, so how long does HDB take to clear that cheque.... I am paying a huge COV... over 50k.. so if they take a long time to clear.. i might want use my cheque from a higher interest bearing account.. rather than use the Standchart Extra saver super low interest account cheque.. Hope the guys here with experience can share... Many Thanks!

got a similar question. Existing toilet bowl is at the centre of the wall.. ie... right in front of door when go into toilet.. ID suggested moving to the corner... My concern is, is this possible? Would i see a pipe from the bottom of toilet bowl going towards the original toilet bowl location? since the "**** hole" is there... with the pipe it would be ugly... also, anyone thought of what happens when "things" are within the pipe??? so unhygienic... better to go directly into the **** hole in the toilet... So is it advisable to move the bowl position??

Recommendation Needed For Wardrobe Specialist
yixiang1 replied to Chunky Monkey's topic in Carpentry Works
I saw lumiera at furniture mall.. The guy working there very angry with closet design.. say closet design copy from them.. And the selling point of Lumiera is.. they provide 10 years warranty!! so the sliding doors, drawers, etc.. seem to be covered... Any other wardrobe specialist include 10 year warranty? -
Anyone Tried Installing System 3 And System 1 In Hdb?
yixiang1 replied to wonsen's topic in Electronics & Electricals
How do i know if my power point for the Existing system 3 is 20A or 15A?? Gain city sales man told me its 15A, so if i need install system 1, i need to run another power point/socket for it, cannot share with existing aircon. However, best denki guy tell me the power point is 20A, so i can install system 1 to share the power, 20A just enough to support both together. Does anyone know how can i find out? Is it dependent on how the original air con was installed? whether its 15A or 20A. Thanks. -

Thelineliving Or Tip?
yixiang1 replied to yan's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
I think must look at the fine print for the warranty... if it is actually listed.. what is covers and what it does not.. I dun have much experience with reno, my personal is just, for this kind of warranty, how many times is there just a fine line between workmanship problem and normal wear and tear. They may claim its normal wear and tear and dun cover it right? thats my worry. Point to note, above are personal comments, i have not done any major reno before so its not from experience. -
Stiles Deseno Interiors
yixiang1 replied to Yarrick's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
REvive this thread for guys here who have used or are considering using Stiles. Thanks for any comments. -
This thread is so popular.. there should be more of such threads around since many of us are buying resale and know what we want to do, so we dun really need an ID. What we need is just a reliable contractor with a bit of design knowledge.... So one of the commonly mentioned ones in this forum is ho bee???
