Hi, I have the glossy type homo tiles installed in my living room. They look nice and shiny but the downside is that footprints (e.g. oily and sweaty feet) can be easily stained onto the tiles. I have to mop the floor every few days just to remove these imprints. Anyone facing this issue or has any solution? Tks!

Sorry havent been logging in for the longest time due to bz-ness. Ya, as babymaro said, that bugger left a long, deep, windy scratch across more than 1/2 my bonnet. I suspect that fella parked beside me on the passenger's side cos the starting and ending points of the scratch coincided as if that bugger was on his way to get into his car beside mine. And that day it happened? VALENTINE's DAY!!! So u can imagine how freaking pissed I was. I parked at deck 2B the previous night facing away from the main road, about 3 cars away from the central stairs. Have made a police report but knew it was pretty futile. What to do? LL...suck thumb. Just wanna vent my frustration somewhere and hopefully to get their attention. That Indian uncle who washes car? Initially he was 1 of my suspects cos I didnt let him wash my car....LOL. Kidding... Keep your eyes peeled...

I agreed that the prata is nothing to be shout about....though it's quite crispy but the curry sauce totally killed it. Not to mention the price. Tried it once and that's the last time.

Hi bro, Ya I got it. Criteria is that the secondary lot must be of the HDB of an immediate family member of the car owner. It's worth the buy but downside is that the 2nd season parking is given lower priority compared to normal 1s.

Yep yep...it can be kinda scary to walk alone through the many urbanised 'trapdoors' and corridors in our beloved blk. Kinda reminds me of playing Wolfestein. LOL. Anyway, it would be best to avoid all the interconnecting floors between the blocks (including the sky garden) and just use the 1st floor main corridor. There's 1 at central opposite our block. It;s under a covered 'tunnel' going towards Courts, I think. U can try that.

Think most blocks will have a view of Mac reservoir if u are of a certain elevation and also facing the right direction. I am at E too but can see the constructions going on at Lor 1. ****. Yep...seen long queues everynow and then we were passed by Balestier Rd. Is it that good? For me, I'm the lazy type and would rather settle for OK standard than join in long queues. The new 1 across the road....is it nice? Thinking of trying it someday. 75sqm is really small if you are used to the older types of HDB units. It's actually a 3-rm flat in disguise. Haha. Depends on whether u r in urgent need for a hse now and also whether u r' fated' to get 1 here, if not, u may wanna consider waiting. 2010~2012 would be a time when most of the new projects materialised and supply should be up. Maybe u can be my neighbour...there's a 75sqm a couple of flrs below mine still available...who knows The thing about a 75-er is that you are severly handicapped when choosing furniture, especially the MBR bedframe. That is if u r not into hacking walls. Not to talk about other stuff like sofa, dining table etc. The hse is so improportional in size that whenever my frens come over, they'll say:"Wow your kitchen and MBR toilet is big!". Haha. I would prefer the extra size to be transfered to the MBR and living-rm. Anyway, worry about this later after u get the hse. Now go Rocher there to pray if u r a Buddhist. Gd luck

Hi there, u better watch out for the ethnic quota requirements for every estate if you are chinese. That may kill off your chances of getting the units u want. We almost couldnt get a unit here cos of this the other time. In the end have to settle for the puny 75sqm unit. Haha. Gd thing is it is so small that it's ez to clean. 100+ in queue no. is not very optimistic. Not trying to pour cold water hor. Just pray hard dude...u r at least better than my colleague who got 2000+ for this rd

Geesh...the prices of the 4-rm units in our blocks has risen by about 50k in the space of 6+mth. My colleague is complaining when I told him how much we got ours in the Feb BE. Then again, we were complaining when we heard how much the units were going for in 07. What to do?

Yes u need both these things to collect the freebies. Their contact number(s) can be found on the redemption letter. From what I understand, they have different numbers for different brands. Think they start at 12pm daily and closes at 7pm and 5.30pm wkdays and wkends respectively if I'm not wrong...

Yep the HT-TZ212 HTS is here. Can go and collect. Collected over lunch just now. There was a queue of about 15 ppl even b4 the shop opened. But dun expect them to call you if u r on the queue list. I called them myself to check whether the stock is in. Later shall go and play with the HTS
