  1. Can someone explain what is the difference between contra and co-broke? For one of them, i understand agent can represent both buyer and seller, do u think this is fair ? For another one, i understand agent 'can seller' certain agent they want to share commission, in this case only those who agree to share commision with them can bring seller to view unit,is this true huh?? I find both scheme ridiculous !!!
  2. me too, no reply from HDB at all,my fren who applied receive letter of notification says their application has been received..but why i did not receive ?

I just find that the agent's attitude is not right, how can he say such things like if u not willing to offer $xx amt to match blah blah....he can say "owner still hope to get $xx Cov, since he just advertise..unless he willing to lower cov, then i will contact u again" dosent it sound better ?

I think the seller's agent will help me, cos when i bargain for lower cash he rejected immediately and say no point to talk if we cannot afford Cov...so difficult to find a ideal hse with low cov why are agent so like that..money sucker ? anyone has similar experience ? why isn't government stepping in to discipline these agents?

  17. hi folks, i would like to find out can i still buy private condo if me & spouse currently co-own hdb which is not fully paid off? can i stop my CPF payment to the HDB and get my own private condo but i still leave my name inside the hdb ?
  18. Yes , sequence shd be 1-3-2-4, cos shd be serve tea to groom side first..if u serve tea to bride's side , it is like groom is marrying into bride's family..hehee

  21. hi, the husband is consider a first timer if his parents flat are resale, not direct from HDB.Even it is a flat bot directly from hdb, u can tell HDB that the flat is a gift from his parents, husband did not bot it directly from HDB, it is his parents who bot it. Pls also note that withdrawing the name will need to pay back CPF accured interest, HDB stamp fees, conservancy fees..which can be a few $k
