I feel b4 you even close the deal, you should have negotiated with the buyer to allow you to stay for another month more. If he decided not too, then maybe can refuse the deal. Not too sure the reason why last minute you wanted to extend 1 more month. Perhaps you can rent storage area to put all your stuff, and rent a room or stay with parents for time being.

My frd got his whole house EM plastered & painted at around $2.5k, previously was rock stone finish.

Theres this brand of white paint,.20 litre type cost like $34 or $38 only..selling in my neighbourhood..used aredy not bad. Anyway was checkin tamp EM resale transaction..Executive & EM in tamp selling from $480k - $610k in dec 08...madness..

I saw in those paint ad by nippon paint or something..they got offer for maisonette at $1.5k, not sure how many colors. I juz painted white for the whole house, 1 layer only..tink its good enough coz maybe this year if got budget gg to plaster & paint the whole house again. Its harder 2 paint my house coz the whole house is rock stone finish. Staircase railing, & 2nd floor window grilles which have rusted, i painted matt black.. I spent more on lightings than on painting..lightings spent about 300+. Haha..painting as a service..i dun dare charge..mine amateur type leh oso dun have the time..hehe.

I think i save at least $1k, but its hard work. Bought paints, brushes,rollers, trays,lotsa paper tapes to take up those areas you do not wish to paint, etc. After scrubbing/wiping clean the walls, i paint a layer of white paint on the walls, even if wanna paint other colors, I tink painting a layer of white 1st will make the subsequent color stand out. Total i spend like less than $200 but i made a mistake, should have bought those big drums type, I bought those 5 litre paint which end up cost much more. For the whole EM, I tink i used up 8 5litre cans costing $140. If i buy the big drums type. I tink will cost me less than $100.

My late dad got stroke 6 years ago...also 2 of my uncles and my frd's dad. All of us hired a maid, best hire a physically strong maid..not those small petite maid. We trained her while she's on the job. The doctor and nurse will come once a week or something..cant remember. Most stroke patient,unless those bed ridden type, do not wish to go thru therapy after sometime coz they feel meaningless and resigned to their fate. You must force and encourage them. Meantime can get ur medical supplies like adult diapers, bed sheet, etc. Make arrangement on how to take care of ur father. Impt is also regularly rotate ur dad on the bed if not can easily get bed sores.

Like few days ago,i went 2 a light shop in tamp since near my hm and dat shop always advertise on papers.1st time when 2 a lighting shop,bought 3 wall lights 2 replace è existing non working lights.satisfied with è price as i cld check some lites prices on è web.wanted 2 pay,i did nt knoe è prices inclusive of gst.then best part i kena chopped on installation price,1st light 65 bux,subsequent 40.thot was è norm,then bargain bit.thot got good deal.till my mum say acherli is ard 35 to 40,subsequent 8.felt like a carrot. Demanded they fix 2 more lights i bought elsewher foc but 2 no avail.at least they charge me 8 bux la.

Wah 12 floor..same like mine. I have been staying mid floor all my life, 1st time stay top floor feels good. If my EM do not include the recess area, it will be smaller than yours.

Ya...still need to reno..but wait after my inlaw finish their reno and maybe early to mid next year. We decided to wait..dont want splurge so much on reno since times are bad and have spend a fortune on COV..

Ya no joke..painted the whole EM from ceiling,walls, staircase railings,doors,balcony, recess area,window grilles etc....I thought it will be easy but no joke siah,esp with the rock stone finish and dirty walls(which I have to scrub clean b4 hand)..i keep tinking of saving 1k+ if I DIY to motivate myself. The whole house look so much cleaner and nicer now. I can keep all windows and doors open coz mine corner, got recess area..hehe..so people walk past cant see my unit.. My neighbour next to me 24hrs a day, windows,doors all closed..only open door wen they go out...the rest of neighbours not so bad..but still 80% of the time its closed. Miss my old neighbourhood when neighbours go out freely, interact with each other..some even open their gates, when we walk past..will strike conversation etc.

Haha..so cialat.. Btw where will you be shifting to? My new neighbours smile to me when I walk past them but so far have not talked to them, but once they reach home they will close their doors. I have finally finished cleaning and painting the whole house, no mean feat but I have done it.. 90% I did it alone. few weekends and some weekdays were burnt but im satisfied and proud of it. Now i knoe every inch of the house and also save some money...hehe.
