  1. hi babytan, the front loading washing machine uses less water compares to the top loading one. The front load uses up to 60% less water and up to 68% less energy than conventional top loading machines. disadvantage is u got to bend down whenever u need to put in / take out the clothes... The cooking school u mentioned is phoon huat at geylang.. u can check out the phoon huat webby for more details. http://www.phoonhuat.com/b_handsondemo.htm

  4. Hi Banzai, i think you can use the fireplace to hide the wires for the TV.. maybe u can place the tV on the mantel? and then the wires are hidden behind the fireplace. to access to the wire.. you can build a backing that allows u to open and close...

  20. Hi country lover no problem! cos it is really tough find country style accessories in SG... and decor pieces.. got good things must share! ehehehe if you are going to IFC... you can check out UNIK home.. they are on level one. they sell similar furniture as Picket and Rail.. but prices cheaper.
  21. Hi Countrylover, no problem will share with u when it is completed. I got my sofa and bedframe from Laura Ashley. The dining table and bench i got it from Unik Home but i am repainting them in a lighter shade. the original teak colour is too "zen" ahahhhaa. do u like french country style furnitures? or other whitish colour ones? cos there is this place that sells the furnitures at a rather affordable rate as country style furnitures are very expensive.. http://www.roomyroom.com/html/royal_french_furniture.html i bought a chest of drawer from them and am looking forward to their next shipment. if u are looking for nice country like baskets.. or rustic hooks, small accessories.... u can visit By the Branch... http://www.bythebranch.com.sg/index.html they got nice small accessories....
  22. Hi countrylover, they charged me $2500 for it. Agree with u their stuff is not cheap... and their furnitures are expensive also... but then i think their quality is really there.... they have the ready made fireplace. just have to install against the wall. i think $1600 for one. Picket and Rail also has some really simple ones.. at the woodlands factory... dunno if now still have...
  23. hi zeez it costs $1200. Converted from a planter box actually.
  24. Hi country lover Thanks! The fireplace is done by Cottage Craft. But the rest of my house is done by my contractor Boon Siew Interior.
