DSA, I have been travelling quite a far bit nowadays and especially with the economic situation now, less people + same amount of work means longer working hrs for the remaining people I will not be able to make it for the Apr 17th event cos I've got other appts. Anyway, enjoy yourself there!!!

A friend of my cousin who is living in Linear Green saw a flasher at Blk 221C around 7pm last night. The flasher hid behind the door of a staircase. She had just lodged a police report. The flasher is a Chinese, about 1.78m, well built. Please kindly inform all the females in your house to be extra careful.

Haa haa haa I think so too. Talking about leaving rubbish at my home. There is one wierd case which happens when I am back from a one week business trip. When I came back to my home, I found a shirt, a trousers, a wallet and a stack of letters in front of my house. Called the police immediately and it turn out that it is the act of an old man who leaves at the same storey as me but different block, suffering from 老人痴呆症. Just wondering how did he travel back home from our block since he is almost naked. But this is certainly scary cos I tot got murder case.

I do agree with most of you that the area is pretty dirty. I am facing problems in my level especially. There is one family on my level who likes to leave their rubbish in the chute area without even attempting to opening up the chute and throw it down. They kind of expect the rubbish to go into the chute themself, this is such a irresponsible act.

Wow, have been quite sometime since I last came to this forum. Had been busy with both my work (travelling) and kid. Have seen the posters of the party in the lift lobby and think it would be fun to join. Unfortunately, it falls on the same time as my daughter's class and we have to give it a miss. I don't think the toilet issue is due to lack of use cos it is happening to me as well and worse of all, in both toilets. The brownish thing can re-appear in the evening after I have make sure that I clear all the toilet bowls in the morning before I leave for work. I suspect it is not s*** but some brownish articles which I don't know what that is. Signzzzz.......dun know how to solve this problem.

Yeah, have been busy lately. It is really good moving into a proper home finally . Not that my old house is not good but since we have purchase the en-bloc flat and we know we are not going to stay there long, thus alot of my furnitures are make shifts. This is my very first proper home with full furnishing.

DSA, don't worry, you will get use to it one day. I am like u 3 years ago when I first switch to storage. Now, use to it already, always remember the first thing I step into my house is to switch on the heater and after 15 mins, it is ready for you to use. Just a matter of getting use to it

HI Yokoyoko, I bought all these already. For sink, I went for Balleri. Like the design and the size and depth of the sink. For bathroom acessories, bought some from Sim Siang Choon and some from Song Cho. I have also bought a hanging bar for my kitchen to hook some of the cooking items like knives and sauces from Song Cho.

However, currently my house has only the kitchen cabinets & washing machine base, electric wiring, false ceiling and aircon trunking done up. So, not much workmanship to talk about. Would open my house up on the weekend of 19/20 Jul. That is where all the cabinets are done up. Totally agree. DSA is the best when it comes to spotting defects!!! You mean the spring back box cannot remove!!! Then got to get a stronger magnetic stopper then. Really love the wind and would be a waste if door is closed.

Yes, main door got no stopper and it closes very fast. I am thinking of getting rid of the box and put a stopper behind the door so that I can enjoy the wind!!! Also, do not attempt to try an buy those rubber stopper to stop the main door. It will damage the bottom of your door. That is what happens to my parents and DSA and Effie have already witness it!!!

Ha ha ha Yalor, very busy with daytime work for the past 2 weeks and I also got night time & weekend work (the reno). So not much time to log on. Wuh, floorplan huh, abit difficult cos all the design with my ID. Will try to draw that out and send it to you as soon as possible.

I'm from 5-room too and I am placing my dinning table right at the proposed study room shown in our floor plan. Sofa will be right after that and TV on the long wall. I have tried many combination and think this way is the only way that I feel there is no obstructions. Used to think that dinning table will be placed right outside the kitchen but realise that place is so small that I would have to tuck in my dinning chairs to walk out from kitchen, very accident prone. Another place that i have considered is outside the bomb shelter but unfortunately, I am building a shoe cabinet right in front of the shelter to cammoflage and thus eating beside my shoes doesn't make sense.

Hi Raayn, my condolences to you and your family. I totally agree to Yokoyoko and herbman to call the HDB. However, I personally feel that there are always exceptionals and hope that the extension that you will be asking will be granted without a fuss. Everyone, today have been a very busy but fruitful day. I have finally purchase my sofa and the cupboard to my baby. Relatively cheap from Nova. I am also nearing decision on my dryers!!! Ha ha ha!!!! No wonder I need three sheets to fill in all my defects!!!! Luckily all is remedied except for the stupid hanger at the service yard where I put in down and now it got stuck and I couldn't rise it up again!!!
