  1. Oh, I forgot about the fogging, no wonder i caught two mozzies flying in my house, and they were bigger in size than the normal ones I seen outside. so scary...

  3. Very nice indeed! esp the combi of the TV console and cabinet. unique!
  4. I have not seen the mickey family since then. but this morning while passing by the rubbish collection point at 220B, I saw a young one running for his dear life to hide in the bushes.
  5. I shown my ID the type of hood and dimensions before he did his planning. It was fine for me as my hood is at a height of 936mm. The recommended height between the hood and kitchen top is 65cm - 70cm. Any longer and the suction weakens. You may have two options to choose: either change to another hood or ask your ID to build a 20cm height of cabinet on top of your hood so that it won't look as though it's hanging in mid air. hope this helps.
  6. I am not surprised. Sitting in my living room and looking out the window one night, I was greeted by 3 - 4 mickeys playing hide and seek between block 221A and 221B.
  7. My curtain pple came down to take measurements when carpentry was still in progress, so I think it should not be a problem. I also like the Denmark shop but the stuff are exp! There is another branch at City Hall. Can anyone help on the shelving question as well? As in how long it takes to do up the shelter shelving? I should be calling Tony pretty soon.
  8. Hi rainsnowz82, looking at your nice designs, it will probably cost around 28-30k excluding lights, electrical points and curtains. Typical kitchen will cost around 2k plus while the reflective feature wall (glass?) will probably cost a fair bit too. Can imagine it will look very cosy when done.
  9. Welcome applegirl we are on the same blk, happy renovating!

  15. Hi guys, hows it been doing for you all? so long never drop in. Saw someone posted about heaters and hoods and hobs. Just like to share that Rinnai is quite good but choose those that has the sv sign and preferably made in japan. For heaters, ariston and joven are recommended by other forummers. I have called up both and enquired about their products. For 25L, ariston and joven comes in stainless steel cylinder. For 30L, choose ariston cos the newer squarish models are titanium. Take note that warranty for ariston is 5 yrs, while joven offer 10.
  16. To add on to donut88 information, I have called up the company who brings in Ariston. Their products are made in various countries such as Vietnam, India, Indonesia, etc. The model for 25L is stainless steel and made in India while their 30L newer model is using titanium tank.
  17. Thanks herbman for showing us your house and meeting everyone there. Apologies for not able to stay longer to chit chat
  18. Spam! Happy renovating blurer23
  19. Can anyone verify if this is on purpose? Mine is the same, and if i add in more water, it will flow out from the tube inside to my floor.
  20. DSA, they do not have demonstration of their burners cos it's a air-conditioned place? But they do demo the air flow of their hoods. Where did you see Fujioh inner flame burner in action?
  21. hi all, i had went down to Rinnai showroom yesterday and saw the gas heater. Basically the lady told me it can be install at either the service yard/ kitchen but not bathroom. Not sure about the reason though. Now they are offering the heater at SGD160. Also asked about the hood and hob, it seems like we will get a better deal if we buy from their dealers. Is anyone still interested in getting? btw, big orange, you can bold my name on the list.
  22. For those of us who haven't gotten our keys yet, I wonder how often Starhub guys will come down to check if we miss this week's appointment.
