I just posted at http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=19644 and realized this thread is about Art piece. I believe the Singapore Art Tour galleries do sell their art collections. You guys may want to check it out.

UPDATE: Sorry, all four tickets given away already. Thanks. I bought four Singapore Art Tour tickets (half day tour), planning to bring my business associates around. Due to last minute change in travel plans, they are not flying in this weekend. I am giving away the four tickets (cost me $69 per pax) to Renotalk forum members on a first come first serve basis. Please post here to indicate you want them and then PM me your contact details. I prefer to give to people hunting for art pieces for their homes or art lovers, otherwise this tour will bore you to death. Tour Details: Singapore Art Tour 945am - 130pm 14 Feb 2009 Meet at J-Cafe (MICA building, opposite Funan, beside the fire station) More details at Singapore Art Tour

What he meant is... not to turn on all 4 units all at once. Turn on the first unit, then give an interval of 10 minutes before turning on the next unit and so on until all units are up and running.

It is safe to use WD40 which fulfills five basic functions:
-
I was told by my contractor that it is not advisable to use sandpaper because it will remove a protective layer usually found on such racks, making it easier to get rusty. Remove the dust with a dry cloth and use WD-40 to polish the rack - LG China contractors did it this way. WD-40 is available in most supermarkets and DIY stores.

Curtains take around 2-3 weeks to make so it is alright to ask them go to your place to take measurements now. If you are not in a hurry, you can make it after your walls are painted and your furniture placed. This way you can match the colors better. For shelter racks, just tell Tony what dimensions you want and the color (check with him pricing). Tell him which day you are available. He and his wife can complete it within an hour.

Here you go...

I chose not to spend so much on the H/S store rack. Tony did my grey L-shaped L48"xH72"xW20" for $160. For the same dimension, Alan would charge $10 more and Fong Sheng Woodwork Industrial (FSWI) will charge around $200. However in the case of FSWI, 12mm plywood are used instead of 9mm. Depending on the color you choose - Grey, White or Brown, the prices may varies too. If you want to DIY, it will probably costs $60-$90 (my contractor's worker told me). Are your curtains full length type? Tks.

Ideas and design are subjective because beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. In a casual conversation, I brought up to Uncle Winson that their business can do better if they have in-house interior designers with relevant academic qualitifcations and experiences. He said he does work with a designer when prospects ask for special themes/designs they have in mind and have a comfortable budget ($40K and up). Unlike some other firms, the designer will separately charge (about $600++ if I can recall correctly) for the design and planning services rendered if the prospects decided to take their designs to other contractors. The fee is waived if you decided to go with TAU Interior Design. If you decided to take this route, check with Uncle Winson on the exact details. All the best to your reno! -

Hey BO, now that most people have gotten their keys, how about indicating on the first page who has moved in already? Perhaps bold the nicknames with a different colour. My LG status: Not moved in yet.

Yes, no harm telling Jovi about it.
