For those considering direct Contractors vs ID, you may want to consider my contractor who has done a great job for me at very good contractor prices. The designs as shown which I asked a few IDs and they say it cannot be done. I was a bit hesitant at first, even at the last moment till I saw his other job sites. Look at the pictures for my house and his other job sites. Wow!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to recommend Teng Hong Renovate. I renovated my BTO 4-room flat last year with them. It is a small family run business and the owner is very down to earth and easygoing. Pricing wise is very competitive too. I did not engage an ID, so I told Mr Low (the contractor) what I want to do with my place and he advised us accordingly whether it is doable or not. Here's some photos of my humble abode. I demolished the wall between the kitchen and dining area, and the wall between my living room and bedroom 3 for a bigger space. I really love the outcome of the renovation! Highly recommend Mr Low! You can contact them via their facebook page and they will give you a quotation. Hope this helps!

To all Home Owners Pls be careful with Carpenter Workz Pte Ltd or T.I Furnishing Pte Ltd or Carpenter Work Pte Ltd or Elementz Design. Tommy Ong, the managing director is bankruptcy and they are unable to deliver after you made deposit. If you are also a victim. Pls message me.

yes u can arrange a pure hacker to do the job, and then a contractor to do reno. this will pull the price down by a few hundred dollars. had pm u a team of hackers, u might want to call them to ask the price.

Uhhhh a silver lining for using Vinilex over EasyWash Because EasyWash is slightly glossy due to the easy wash capability, it's not easy to patch on your own and it will look patchy. Matte paints can be patched easily without rly seeing the patch that's what the contractor told me and I tried it when I patched some areas in my home with putty then paint and it's true. HTH

I engaged Singapore Carpentry and the designer name is Ernest Tan who is a irresponsible person. Bad workmanship, no proper communication and discussion, never keep a record, mess up all the wardrobe, cabinet design with other customers, wrong measurement that turn out to be ugly design and yet put the blame on us. Fortunately I kept all the WhatsApp communication record but with all the evidence, there is still no apology from him and yet demand complete payment. He actually does not have his own factory but -out all his contract / jobs to outside small carpenters. I also engaged him to renovated my house and it has been almost a year, there are still some small issues going on. he refused to pick up my call and does not response to my message. End up I have to spend money engaged handyman and contractor to cleared up the left behind mess. Please do not use him and end up like me having a long nightmare.
