I started off with an excel too when I first started comparing quotes. But gave up after 5 companies. Haha. They basically jack up different areas to earn their money. There's no way we can compare apple to apple line by line. Will suggest instead to comparing them line by line, tell the companies exactly what you want (including how many fts for carpentry, full height or half height, brand of hinges to be used, what type of paint etc), and den compare the overall quote that came back. Choose those that falls within your budget, or at least not too far off (can still bargain when ready to finalise), check for feedback on forums, then meet up with those shortlisted IDs to assess the chemistry you have with them. Along the way, you may have already stuck off many IDs who were not responsive, don't bother about ur budget etc. Through this method, hubby and I ended up meeting just 6 ID firms, out of the many who quoted us from the forum quotation requests. Hope this will help ease some of the headache u face when choosing your ID!

agreed with kcwee. Please get audit especially on where is location on water element (fish tank). I've learnt a lesson on house fengshui audit - (my opinion only, you can differ from mine) - that u only need to do a one time audit ..of course there are people who say this fs master no good, etc ..need to reconfigure ...I think it is about whether u lucky or unlucky to meet the right fs master for fs configuration.

New got the painter to paint over all the skirting black as the original colour was really an eyesore to her.

My surprise. New said she upgraded my WIW aluminium pole system to mirror finish stainless steel poles for me. They do resemble those high quality boutiques we see at Orchard! Was really extremely happy to finally see my mini WIW. It does look small on screen but we were surprised by the actual space. And we did uturn in it.

I think the most important is to cleanse the house negative energies before moving in. Negative energies can cause lots of problems in the long run. Simple ritual is not able to cleanse the house properly. It's good to spend a bit of money and get professional help.

i feel that it is too general, better engage a proper master to see the house.

Hi all, i just want to share my experience with this company SG Closet. Cos' i'm happy with the end result it has given me. I don't like the usual boring wooden material wardrobe . As i was in search for pole system closet i came across OPSH which is using aluminium material. And bingo i thought that is it and just before i am going to confirm my order with OPSH. I come across this shop which have caught my eyes . It has the classy feeling which look like having a small boutique at my house . It's in stainless steel material, told by the sale guy as long as the pole doesn't contact with rain it will not corrosive and it is in low maintenance just use a mirco-fibre cloth with plain water for cleaning . They have given me idea to install a full length mirror to make my tiny walk in wardrobe look longer .
