yuene 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2010 TOP: laminate used on the dining table. yes, my only indulgence for my raw, industrial look. Haha, you should try planting the idea of more industrial in your wifey's head.... Wahahahaha... For a moment there I thought the table is really made of concrete, though! Nice effect there. AMK 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2010 meanwhile, the hiatus caused further hacking in another place - in my already not-very-deep-pocket Talis S² - Single Lever Kitchen Mixer DN15 with pull-out spout Elkay EC-22104 (Doble Equal Bowl - Undermount) Kitchen Sink now can someone tell me if i'm seeing things? jus uploaded the sink pic and realised the bottom of the sink is not smooth but striped?! jia latz la like that! must call up and check liao wife and i also fancy another potentially "will ganna niam" purchase, but we have yet to commit for. see and you shall know Stainless Steel Dining Bench d a r n... 3.22 in the morning. shall be patriotic and sing national anthem before i hit the bed. HA HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Your single Lever Kitchen Mixer DN15 with pull-out spout looks very nice too. Where & how much did you pay for it (with/ without GST) ? Thanks! For a moment there I thought the table is really made of concrete, though! Nice effect there. alas, am quite sure the effect is achieved! period. thank you, thank you! like i said, the only raw industrial indulgence i can have you next to all the stainless steel stuff. but kudos to my wife too, she is very confident of pulling off all white mixing with my stainless steel items without a too clinic feel. so there was no holds barred when it comes to buying stainless steel items. ha
ne0mesis 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2010 Your single Lever Kitchen Mixer DN15 with pull-out spout looks very nice too. Where & how much did you pay for it (with/ without GST) ? Thanks! go look for lily at home & bathroom building products. they house many hansgrohe and grohe stuff and i believe it can be cheaper than elsewhere. i don't have the receipt with me now but tell her that fabian from jelebu recommended you to come. then try asking her for the same price then. shoudn't be a problem. patsy_sg 1 Report post Posted September 22, 2010 looking good! and I agree on the condo vs EA discussion, if I could turn back the clock, I would have just renovated my EA instead of moving! I miss the space so much now! Downsized from 1650 sq ft to 1200 sq ft! your kitchen and dining table is exactly what was done in the showflat of the Holland Collection and a 3 bedroom unit was going for $3.8 mil there (itchy backside go see to drool!!) ne0mesis 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2010 THE DAY WHEN WOOD WOULD IS PASSE, NOW IS THE DAY WHEN LIGHT LIKES TOP: the very very tricky lighting feature that really onto our nerves (partly due to the d a r n concrete beam that ran across our island). discussion even went up another ante when wife and i actually bumped into a lighting consultant at lightcraft. after much serious debates with id, consultant and anal hours of discussion with wife over which lighting to buy over the island, it all boils down to this customised lighting at lightcraft - white, 4ft long with 2 spots and a T5 that would hang suspended below the beam. TOP BEHIND: my fujioh hood with free extension is up too! TOP: for a more rousing effect, go down under. HA TOP: cheap and not losing style, turn to ikea. track light that would be cast onto our open wiw which is most like an ikea set-up too. why ikea in the end, that'a another time, that's another day oct is creeping in and Oracle would say, "Neo, Everything that has a beginning, has an end" I sense it, the time is near, but I believe this time is different. cause after the end of the reno, everything in the house has a new beginning
green giraffe 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2010 Love your concrete island!!! Very stylish! Can already imagine dinner parties on the island under the custom made light. Have you decided on your dining chairs? Your reno is progressing very fast. Cant wait to see the NEW Beginning.....

Have you decided on your dining chairs? Your reno is progressing very fast. Cant wait to see the NEW Beginning..... you're BACK! i tot you got lost in your garden! ya, the idea is to have a decent family dinner on the dining table. thus the bigger size. below the dining are 2 power points btw. so yea, steamboat is anytime! haha you're not keeping up, giraffe.. is not really concrete concrete per se. is a laminate actually but well, ya, the effect is there which is gd. HA we're aiming for stainless steel bench to fulfill the theme in the house, then another 2 individual ones to liven up the atmosphere well, pictures speak a thousand words; TOP: but this ss bench from lush lush is really costing us an arm and a leg. so we have nt bought it yet. butterfingerz mentioned there's a similar one at OM though. TOP: we just dig the artwork on the chair and we agreed that it would liven up if the house seems too "cold" with white and stainless steel
