dbkungfu 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) Move-in Countdown - 11days Day 28 (Thursday) - window grille, switches, t5 lights, kitchen dishrack, bathroom bi-fold doors, granite countertop A bit kan cheong ... so monitoring progress everyday now. Took half day to scrap stubborn masking tape on window frame. fyi, my previous owner stick some mosquito netting on few window frame, so I got quite a lot of black ugly masking tape stuck on the silver window frame Surprising the tip on howto remove old/stubborn masking tape really work like a charm. The recipe Hair dryer + blank cd + alcohol solution (for this I bought googone from home-fix) So apply heat on the masking tape for about 10-20seconds, then start scraping using blank cd. Finally use googone to wipe away the remaining glues. Very fortunate though, as grille contractor arrive around my final removal of masking tape in mbr. So get uncle to start installing the living room window grille 1st. Didnt know they come today, been told it going to be tomorrow. Manage to remove all in time phew phew .. photo taken after 2nd trip back at 8+pm cage is up clipsal wide switches installed mbr hair dryer, t5 down light, wide mirror & bifold door (on mirror reflection) installed Surprisingly, there still some workers installing my final blum aventos + songcho dishrack in kitchen. Didnt wanna to disturb them, so doesnt have chance to check my granite countertop. Will get wf to do it tomorrow Edited June 24, 2010 by dbkungfu
