Ever heard about invisible grilles? Read on to find out more! Undoubtedly, when people shop around for window grilles, they will prioritize safety and aesthetics as the main criteria when choosing the right type of grille. Out in the market, there are basically two categories of window grilles: traditional grilles ( normally made of steel or aluminium) and invisible grilles.
While there are pros and cons for both types of grilles, invisible grilles are a clear winner when you don't want to compromise security and style. For those unfamiliar or skeptical about invisible grilles, this article will advise you on what you need to know about the invisible variety of grilles.
What is it: Let' start with the basics, what are invisible grilles?
They are basically window frames that are strung vertically with high tension cables made of steel that have a nylon membrane and can typically withstand tensile force of over 90 kg. These high tension and very thin cables are spaced just wide enough to prevent someone entering or falling out but they are also spaced out far enough from each other, making it practically invisible when you view from a distance.
Aesthetics:
The discreteness of the grilles allows you to have unobstructed view of your surroundings. It' a definite plus point if your house faces beautiful greenery or the sea that you don't want to spoil with obvious-looking grilles. In addition, you don't have to worry about making sure that the grille design and colour blend seamlessly with your home decor. It also gives you a more spacious feeling compared to the feeling of being boxed in that you tend to get with many traditional grilles.
Easy Installation and Maintenance:
The installation and removal process of the grilles is fairly simple and shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. If you're moving residence, you can have the advantage of easily dismantling the grilles and installing them at your new place. Furthermore, invisible window grilles are virtually maintenance free as the cables are made of stainless steel and are coated with anti-corrosive spray.
Integration With Alarm System:
You can also have the added security option of connecting your invisible grilles to your alarm system, which will ensure that any breach of security from the outside of the grilles will trigger the alarm.
Last but most importantly, remember to engage an experienced and reputable expert for top quality invisible grills for your home so you can your loved ones can remain safe and sound.

Going to install window grilles on my upcoming HDB, but is concerned about the safety of the invisible grilles. I saw videos on how easily the invisible grilles wire can be cut and burnt. Anyone had any experience to try to burn or cut the wires? I saw the company doing those videos is part of Endo Grilles, thus should be true, right? Since they are also selling invisible grilles? Please advicewww.youtube.com/watch?v=_WWvdRlyjwcwww.youtube.com/watch?v=1J_nZaZbCmI
