Forget sleek skyscrapers and cookie cutter modern interiors! Today we'll be exploring the wackiest and weirdest buildings on the planet, who look nothing less than extraordinary! Although we'll probably never be able to own houses like these, there's no harm dreaming!

Located in Sopot, Poland, the Crooked House looks like a distorted building straight out of a storybook, and is dedicated to children's book illustrator Jan Marcin Szancer's works.
The adorably warped building has become a commercial spot for tourists who visit the city, and is part of the Rezydent shopping centre. Besides snapping a few pictures of the unique building outside, you can also tour the inside, while visiting the various shops and restaurants it houses.
2. Glass House

The Glass House is situated in Tokyo, Japan, and is called the "House NA". Designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects, the structure was meant to let in a whole new level of natural light, and its form was also inspired by a treehouse.
The concept is beautiful, and from the inside it looks breathtakingly spacious and airy. The only downside though, it its obvious lack of privacy. Nonetheless, we still think it's one of the world's most incredible looking homes, and we're still marveling in its beauty.
3. Flintstones House

In Malibu, California, sits a house entirely inspired by the Flintstones series. Surrounded by an area which mimics the likes of a desert, the home which sits in the middle of it all looks exactly like it came from the Flintstones sitcom itself.
Even the inside is fascinating, the entire place feels like you're literally living in the Stone Age. Every inch of the home stays true to the Flintstones theme, but it definitely is by no means lacking in style!
4. Water Tower House

An old water tower in Belgium, which was once even used as a Nazi hide-out during the war, has since undergone a drastic transformation and become an absolutely gorgeous space. It's also completely functional for living, and even has the most breathtaking panoramic view from the top.
The interior is filled with mostly monochromatic elements, styled very simply but managing to maintain a completely sleek and modern outlook. We're somehow obsessed with their spiral staircases, a repeated element in the home which seems to add a unique sense to the place.
5. Keret House

Practically the most narrow house in the world, the Keret Houses literally measures approximately 92 to 152 centimeters! A pretty fascinating structure, it's actually a tiny insert in between two buildings, causing some people to miss it even as they walk right by it!
Although it sounds impossibly uncomfortable, the home actually fits a single bed rather cozily, and even a desk in the same space. Although it's very obviously tiny, the Keret House looks like a bright and beautiful place to live in!
