We held our very first RenoTalk Live event last month, and were glad to be graced with the presence of many enthusiastic homeowners. Meant to help these homeowners have a better understanding of effective home renovation and maintenance, RenoTalk Live featured booths run by experts within the field — who enthusiastically spent the afternoon sharing tips with attendees.
"RenoTalk has come a long way since its beginning in 2004. Fast forward 13 years and we're running our very first RenoTalk Live event, which serves as a face-to-face version of our online forum."
The event not only created an opportunity for homeowners to gain more insight, but also provided them with a chance to have their questions answered by professionals.
Many looking to renovate their new crib managed to receive a one-on-one complimentary consultation with interior design firms, while existing homeowners had the opportunity to learn more about products like water filtration systems, faucets and taps. Two of our T bloggers, Danny Li and Jason Pang, were also present to converse with homeowners and share more about their own renovation journeys.
“It's a great event because we're learning a lot about home renovation. It's also very convenient since there are different types of booths congregated together and we can get information from all of them at once.”
- Shareen, Homeowner
Meanwhile, speeches were ongoing throughout the four hour event, where experts covered a wide variety of content, feeding attendees snippets of information condensed into fifteen minute sessions. Our speakers were pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming number of questions raised by the audience, and were more than happy to share their knowledge with such an enthusiastic public. Wrapping up with a bang, a lucky draw was held to thank attendees for their time and support, and nine lucky winners walked away with a bunch of exciting prizes!
At the end of the day, our team's main purpose was to break down all barriers and promote educational interaction, so it was a joy seeing attendees absorb this newfound knowledge, ultimately being one step closer towards building their dream home.
