One of RenoTalk’s goals is to reach out and help homeowners everywhere, especially the underprivileged and disadvantaged members of our community. We also aim to bridge the best renovators in town with homeowners like you to make successful renovations and satisfied customers.
Thus, a collaborative project called Project Container, through which RenoTalk would help to improve local communal spaces with the help of two local interior design firms, d‘Phenomonal and Idee Etcetera. All three parties will also partner with various brands to bring the project to fruition.
Project Container was officialised via a public signing and certificate presentation at the Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru National Day 2019 Observance Ceremony, where RenoTalk’s Director Mr Shaun Ling, d‘Phenomonal’s Ms Kelly Chin, and Idee Etcetera’s Mr Chris Cheng were recognised for this collaboration.

This kickstart to the project and its benefits to the community echo the opening speech made by Ms Indranee Thurai Rajah, representative of the Tanjong Pagar Group Representation Constituency (GRC) (she is also the Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and Education).
“Singapore Together,” she had cited Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat’s announcement.
“Singapore Together is about a nation that faces its challenges together. We will take care of one another. We will support each other. And we will build a society of opportunity so that everyone can progress irrespective of background, irrespective of your status, because we help each other. And that is who we are. So on this fifty-fourth National day, what we are celebrating is our spirit as a Singapore Nation. We’re a small country, no resources, but what we have, the most precious of all, are our people and our Singapore spirit.”

What is Project Container?
Like its title entails, Project Container is a communal space crafted from shipping containers. The space will cater to residents in the area, including underprivileged families, the elderly, and students.
Activities to be held in this space would include courses, play sessions for children, and a relaxation corner.
Project Container will come fully furnished and air-conditioned for cool comfort, with running electricity. It would also have vinyl flooring, a pantry for food, an outdoor awning for shelter, eco-friendly light fittings, and landscaping for green aesthetic appeal.
Project Container will be completed in the Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru area by late 2020 to early 2021.
