subdude 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2014 Finally after a couple of years of waiting, we collected the keys to our new flat on 29th April! The keys collection was delayed for over a month because we had to wait for our bank loan to be ready and then, a lot of paperwork to be settled by the law firm. But finally after two years of waiting, the keys are ready! In order to shorten the time needed, we had started our search for the right ID since Jan... And boy... It wasn't easy. There are so many factors to consider.. The main consideration is, of course, our budget. We wanted to have a modern, scandinavian look to it.We shortlisted two IDs after these few months.. Dreamvision Designer and AX Image. We finally signed with Dreamvision Designer yesterday.Let's hope we have a smooth journey on our renovation!Things we are going to do for the new house:1. 6 ft shoe cabinet2. Kitchen cabinets with Kompactplus top3. Hacking of wall for an Island counter4. Wardrobe with OPSH pole system5. Overlay of master toilet flooring6. Window for the service yard7. Bay window for the Master BedroomFingers crossed!

subdude 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2014 The 3D images are not ready yet.. Seems like we got to wait for a week to see..We are thinking really hard if we want to partition up the additional study area.. It is so expensive.. But looks so nice..It is something like using black powder coated aluminum frames with square glass inserts..
subdude 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2014 We signed for an OPSH pole system wardrobe just now...We calculated the charges.. The build in wardrobe with dresser quoted by our ID was about $700 more than OPSH..Really wish the renovation is starting.. Waiting for the HDB permit to start. subdude 0 Report post Posted June 1, 2014 We went to Hoe Kee yesterday.. They have quite a few outlets, we went to the branch at Tanjong Katong Complex because we went there about two months back and had a really pleasant experience with one of their service staff. (I think he is called YY by the others). We started out not wanting to buy anything yet.. But at the end of the day, we spent close to $2.4k...Items we bought:1. Hood (Fujioh FS 890)2. Hob (Fujioh FG 773 SVGL)3. Kitchen sink (Blanco Naya 8 Silgranit Rock-grey)4. Kitchen mixer (Blanco Mida Rock-grey)5. Storage heater (Joven 25L)6. Bathroom mixer and rainfall shower set (Krisroz G19026)7. Dinning table lightingWe were already looking out for all these items... Since the ID will be needing most of these for the kitchen cabinets, i guess we should be getting them asap!

Songz 132 Report post Posted June 2, 2014 These are needed stuff for Reno. Most important is you are happy with the purchases and the pricing you paid From my pt of view, I feel they are all quite good purchase items
